I'm having trouble with my vacuum advance on my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . Set the timing hooked line back up gose all the way full advance. I have the stock distributor with a howell fuel injection. Thinking about replacing with a hei
 
Are you on full or ported vacuum? Howell's directions say full, but I'm using ported to let the ecm have more control.
 
Go for the HEI. If you went for the Howell don't back off now. You won't regret it. Better starts, Easily waterproofed. :D
 
It's been a week sense I've looked at my vac lines I'll have to check them again. Posi I'm really leaning that way on the dizzy.
