The best tire I've run in muddy clay, dirt, sand, snow, ice, rain, and dry pavement,
is the BFG KM2 33".
Hands down love these tires.

I didn't think these would be very good in the snow do to the tread pattern. It seems as though when turning, the tires would be more apt. I have also like them, but that is where i had my reservations. Have you had them in deep snow? How much rain do you get out there in NM? Up here in the rust belt, the snow belt, and the general crappy weather belt, those are things i am forced to look at in a tire.

Well where I live is about 4500ft so we get snow on occasion.
I spent the last snow storm pulling people from ditches and other areas.
I like the tires enough that BFG actually sent me a release form to use
my testamony for print purposes, LOL.
The snow doesn't pack up at all in the tread and you hardly notice
when driving on snow/ice don't recall slipping or sliding at all right off hand.
When it rains all the dirt roads are clay and turn into sticky slimy goo, the tread
cleans well and tracks straight.
With the tread design the tires are fairly quiet on the paved road, I've driven it
and my wife also from here to amarillo, tx about 90miles one way. No droning
like most MT type tires.

A picture for reference:
I believe they are 285/75/16 I forget basically 33"s.

I'll hands down no doubt keep buying these until they quit making them.

Brock i love your jeep its amazing i want a newer rubi so bad i thought about tradin my mustang for one. but couldnt bring myself to it. maybe after next deployment ill get one. tires look great on it too not too aggressive not too sissy either.

I have to agree I love the rubi's to after i pay my truck off its a toss up between a diesel or rubicon, If i get a diesel its gonna be 04 or newer cummins or duramax or a ford with a 7.3L and if i get a rubi its a toss up between the 4 door or 2 door but not matter what any of the vehicles i get will be standards! :D I like the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ on the soon to be wifes grand cherokee, but if i remember right Cooper makes mickey thompsons or vise versa.

LOL, first that's my wifes jeep, it's an Unlimited Rubicon.
I sold my CJ5 to get a truck, and I'm currently looking for another
jeep, might have a mail jeep in the future.

We went with the longer unlimited rubicon so she can
haul stuff, the boy, groceries, and we can still haul camping
gear. It's not a mall crawler, the wife gets it muddy and if
she hears mall crawler come out of anyones mouth she gets pissed.
She rants about women and mall crawlers more than most men, LOL.

The sticker on the side says
Zombie Outbreak
Response Vehicle

Like I said only KM2's are good enough for the Zombie jeep.

Dang that's not cheap! Could I install this on a weekend in the garage with the right tools and the right help? There is a place on post called auto skills where you can rent a bay with a lift for 8 bucks an hour and use all the tools you need and they employ trained professionals to help you out. What gearing should I go with? I'm not looking to do any rock crawling so should like 3.07 be low enough? I still want to be able to drive on the highway.
