Yep... G5 spec on the bolts I posted... The washer / nut spacer system I used to space out the bolt length - YUK!And never, never, never buy any hardware that is not at least grade 5 for anything!!

It can be a bear finding 7/16 14 bolts. The Home Depot and Lowes where I live do not carry any 7/16 bolts.
Luckily, the little ACE hardware does.

to Ace - that is where I get my 7/16 x 14's from... My Tractor Supply has them some times also...

Such a huge store, employees never know anything.
Ace is 1/10th the size, has everything you need, and the employees are always right on top of it!

Your right, I spent two hours looking @ one store then the other. Ended up going to a local hardware store and got the grade 8 bolts. I felt better with them. I will be starting my engine completion thread just as soon as I get my parts to start on it...
