I think I'd pass out if it was 80 here today - bloods still to thick from winter - I think I'd get used to it pretty fast though!

The paint is rustoleum rattle can. It's the khaki from their camo set.

When I got the jeep it had a really good camo job on it. I tried touching it up but couldn't quite get the knack of it so I just went with the one color.

Wooly

The key is to always start with the lightest color first. Going from dark to light just doesn't look right.
This is my CJ years ago when I first rattle-canned it. Other than some touch-up once in a while, the paint job has held very well over 15 years.

I really like both! You're giving me thought to change. Same with my rustoleum version. It's held up surprisingly well the past 4 years especially with the Texas sun. I've only waxed it each spring to help maintain it.

Sold my wheeling rig last Tuesday, and picked up a 2016 Hard Rock Rubicon Edition. I'll be able to drive to Silverton this Summer, plus AC on the trails.

Already had it off road and it works well. I'll post pics later this morning. Woo-Hoo!

Is this an April fools item? Just wondering. Not against the JKs (I have a 15 JKU) but I can't see having to sell my Scrambler.

My money is on legit. He still has his project CJ...

I agree since I've just decided to sell mine and do the same.

I've decided to hold off one more year. Then I'm on it...

I was in a playful mood this morning......:D

JKs are nice for sure but the ones I've driven off road are pretty boring. A local guy has a 4 door all tricked out and he defiantly uses and it goes great but you don't really know you've left the road!

I was wondering why it took so long for someone to jump on it. :D

I read it this morning and just laughed. Loved the a/c on the trails part. I was prepared for 4/1 though.

To be fair to 007, he knew I was offered to take a 2016 ruby off the lot for the day.

:laugh::chug::laugh::beer::laugh::doh: Really couldn't wrap my head around that! Need to go change my underwear now!

I was going to ask for pictures…. I believed you bought one😱😱
I was also going to invite you to Camp with us in CO. We are going early and staying for some time after the group ride.

Thank you... I was gonna keep that on the down-low...

Nonetheless - my April Fools radar is quite poor ;-)
