What did you do to or with your CJ today?
Had a fun day wheeling, pics coming soon

Worked on my overhead CB mount. Putting it at the back for visibility, better speaker volume, less clutter up front.

Wooly-Please tell me about the Jeep's paint job.
BTW: It's 79* here. :poke:

I think I'd pass out if it was 80 here today - bloods still to thick from winter - I think I'd get used to it pretty fast though!

The paint is rustoleum rattle can. It's the khaki from their camo set.

When I got the jeep it had a really good camo job on it. I tried touching it up but couldn't quite get the knack of it so I just went with the one color.

The temp ain't bad to deal with here as the RH is 11%.
I might be do'n a 'rattle-can' job on my Jeep in the next year or so.
Did you put a kind of a sealer/clear coat over it?
LG

I like it because it's easy to touch up and I don't worry about dinging it up. I don't have any top coat. I redo it every couple of years and in the past I've rubbed it down with fluid film with gives it a cool kind of matte sheen and conditions everything I think. Right now it's just the paint with one season on it.

How many cans did it take the first time you paint'd it.

Not bad at all-

replaced an indicator light on my switch panel. then enjoyed some sunshine while the new jeep dog and an old jeep dog. :)

Okay, the bait was set, now we bite.......

Jeep Dog pictures are long time favorites here, now we must have some pictures of your dog buddies enjoying your jeep ... nope it doesn't have to be that restricted, any dog pictures are acceptable here.

Ran some of my CB wiring. Need to find a good roll bar wire mount. Thinking about some of these -

Sold my wheeling rig last Tuesday, and picked up a 2016 Hard Rock Rubicon Edition. I'll be able to drive to Silverton this Summer, plus AC on the trails.
Already had it off road and it works well. I'll post pics later this morning. Woo-Hoo!

I have never seen doors like that they look like they fit good. You can't beat a hard top and doors in the winter.

Me neither.

Those are very cool. Know what year/model they are from?

I have no clue. A friend who knew I have been looking for a few years got them on a parts Jeep he picked up and remembered I wanted them. I can take more pics if you would like. I will also look for tags or other identifiers.
