If it is latex, and it hasn't been on there too long, you might want to try soaking the affected area by covering it with wet rags and keeping them wet for a while to see if you can soften the paint before having to work you knuckles to the bone scraping, and inevitably scratching the finish.
Agreed. Saturate it however you can. Should come off relatively easily.
