Made reservations for Moab arriving on the 16th. Have to leave on the 20th because we just couldn't have the miss's playing hooky from school for the whole week. She has to be back on Friday regardless. I'll take it. Sounds like a good time.
Any chance you can switch to the following week? We will arrive on the 23rd and running the trails from 4/24-4/29. I apologize for any date confusion.

Nothing but a thing. Changes being made today, I don't see any problems. Thanks for the heads up! Could be that it works out better for us. We have twin grandkids turning 5 on the 17th. The little girls will be happy to have the party on their birthday.

After a week of overnight temps in the single digits I noticed my catch pan under the jeep had a rainbow of fluids in it. To be fair, I have had a brake leak and a power steering leak for a while, hence the pan. Cleaned up and inspection started, the underside of the old jeep revealed a bunch of needed fixes. replaced the power steering pump, pully and belt, and tightened the hoses, replaced thermostat housing gasket and thermostat (I now have a working heater again), relaced the brake proportioning valve (the reason for the slow leak from the front of the reservoir) hard to see because the fluid was going up on the frame rail and not dripping under the problem, replaced oil pan gasket and rear main seal (didn't even know that had become a problem). Noticed oil dripping from the rear diff, thought it might be fluid flow from the front because the diff fluid was full, replaced the diff gasket anyways. Gotta love the return of cold weather. HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all!
nice work I drive mine year round weather be dammed, stopped the leaks so far this year:cj7:

Yeah, it's my daily driver too. So much so that I sometimes miss things that I should be noticing. I was just allowed back into the garage, so the leaks became noticeable.

My TJ, year round any weather any condition, when my CJ is done, only fair weather as she'll never own a top or doors...but, there's always a future CJ in the works-shhh don't let my wife read this 🤪

:drive: Woke it up went to the Road Kill Diner in the snow, too bad its fluffy and a dusting. 2 foot deep would be more fun.

I believe it's a natural instinct when you see another Jeep in a parking lot to go park next to it - right?

I’m going to need to remember to grab one of those on the way out of the state park next time also. :D

Holy moly with the tank vents not working well on mine an open flame is the last thing i want on a trailer hitch lmao, that would be neat on the front bumper along with the margarita blender

If you light the charcoal before you left the house, the coals would be nice and hot when you toss those tomahawks on the grill. I like the margarita idea.

I actually do have a 2" receiver on the front bumper also; so I can move it there as well.

Yes! I also do that so JK and JL owners can see a jeep with soul:cj7:

Nothing like a REAL jeep (CJ) showing off next to a "newbie" 3rd or 4th gen model.
