They did a couple of those at work. Quite a bit cheaper

Plugged in block heat, started the jeep, drove it for assorted chores never getting warm inside lol. - 10 degrees and soft top. Grinned the whole time, thats why we have jeeps right?

That is awesome to have those lifts!

Back about 25 yr ago when I was working at the GM Proving Grounds in MI, one of my tasks for a while was to manage the replacement of car lifts at the facility. Usually nighttime work for dozens of double and four post lifts.
Sawcut, demo concrete, dig up/pull out mechanism, install new mechanism and suspend in hole with I-beam steel, backfill with pea gravel, place new concrete.
Could replace one over 2 nights plus a morning for the concrete placement.
Allied Inc. lifts, as I recall.

My twin post is a challenger and the in ground is a gabraco (spelling) it's old.

ourgangracing.com. puts it all on. If you want to participate on the ice, you will need to register. You have to park in a smallish parking area so get there early. The races are a distance from the parking area, and you can either look on from the shore or walk out to the track area. Some planning is needed, you will be standing on the ice, and you do so at your own risk.

Looks like a lot of fun, except that ride home in an open Jeep. :chug:

They were trailered in enclosed trailers. some of these guys are a bit serious.

I've watched that before. Kinda neat I've seen em use spiked tires and an E-Brake tied to only one wheel to get a good slide

Yeah a trailer and lots of hot chocolate.

Very cool! I’ve noticed them there in the past while headed up for skiing.
Hate the evening drive back though on I-70.

You bought it new, that is very nostalgic.

How’s retirement going for you…
