What is this called I need a new one. It goes between the floor and the shift boot to create a better seal.

Shifter gasket? Try RTV form a gasket.
 
cut one from sheet rubber? Old inner tube?
 
Do you think you could take a minute to fill in the profile with at least year and modle?? Engine, tranny, TC and axles would be cool to if you find the time.:cool:
 
Thats pretty neat I havent seen any repros of that.:confused: time to break out the inner tube :chug:

I thought I had filled out the profile.:(
 
I dont have an old inner tube unfortunately. and the autostore nor lowes sell rubber material i can cut. I am currently using a combination of duct tape and staples in an attempt to make it work. :rolleyes:
 
Go down to your local tire shop that sells truck tires or tractor tires they sometime will have old tube lying around.....
 
It's part of the gear shift boot obviously... They don't make that part anymore, at least not when I was looking for one about a year ago. All I could find was a new and improved 1 piece design... I think 4WD had it for about $40...
