85 CJ7 4.2l, T5, Dana 300, Dana 30 front, AMC20 rear. 4.56 gears
Passenger side firewall. To the right of the battery and heater hoses, to the left of the diff vent. It’s radiator hose sized. It’s not the drain for the heater box, that’s under the battery. It’s pinched off on the bottom. I don’t think there was AC on the jeep originally, there aren’t any controls for one, but the dash certainly could have been swapped.

Drain for cowl area. The bottom part maybe keeps out the birds and squirrels making a cage home out of that area. :D
 
Solution
I wondered, then found out, but still wonder why it's so large. Seems like 3/4" would be sufficient.

Maybe since Jeeps are awesome they decided to go with awesome size???
 
Maybe it was for those overseas monsoons, actually we can get those right here along the gulf.
