What Parts Are These??

So I removed the accelerator pump diaphragm from the MotorCraft 2100 on my CJ and just picked up a new one at Napa. The dilemma is, when I took off the old part, the spring inside surprised me, and ejected itself along with the old diaphragm out onto the driveway. I thought I had collected all the parts but when I got the new part, I see that it came with these two little metal cylinders. I sure didn't see or find anything like these under the Jeep. Does anyone know where they go, or what they are for?

you may or may not need those depending on the pump cover.

I have no idea what those go to..... they weren't on mine either.. should have diaphram, spring and orange silicone? stopper/check valve stuck in side of carb check out this rebuild pdf really cool info http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/pdf_documents/motorcraft_2150_carb.pdf check about 20 pages in on the reassembly section on accelerator pump and he does not mention anything about it but those plugs are for a different cover to actuate the diaphram thru the cover

Thanks guys. Yeah, the more I have looked around at exploded views and stuff, the more I'm thinking that these little doodads don't apply to my carb.

Okay, just put the new diaphragm on without the dodads and everything is running good. Amazing how much the old leaking one was affecting performance!!
