Well YAY! lol thats what I was going to do in the beginning but then changed my mind so I guess the print that I found made my mind up for me lol. so I guess I will have a 3" overall lift 2 1/2" suspension and a 1/2" shackle lift that ought to clear my 33" tires now lol

After dinner.
Front shackle.

Front spring hanger, moved out for the front Dana 44 . It was welded with a stick welder.

Rear shackles.

Steering box brace. My box is four inches forward from stock. Made from scrap that was lying around.

My shifters. Each made from scratch, except the balls, which I bought. I made the linkages also. One of these days, I'll get my ash tray/junk drawer put back in.

Okay, you asked for it. This is the framework that is also the tranny mount. This is the way it was when I was running a single piece front driveshaft and the AMC 360. It now has a two piece driveshaft and a LT1, so the front piece that went under the pan was cut off.

This is the second tranny mount/torque arm. It allows me to drop the tranny mount frame and not have to put something under to hold up the drivetrain. Sorry for the fuzziness.

This is how it goes together.

The cover. It's 3/16" aluminum.

Mounted underneath.

Thnks guys! One thing that came out better than expected was the back-up lights. I used four leds that fit in a 3/8" hole and had a head on it that was nearly flush, about like a bolt head, maybe 3/4" in diameter and 3/16" thick. They are bright, not driving light bright but way brighter than standard B/U lights.

I have purchased other leds from him too, my interior/roll cage domes are his too. I will eventually get the led tail lights from him too.
I still do not have the center led hooked to a switch! I am kinda waiting until i re-do the dash.

Clear and lighted range is 60-75ft, relfective and dimly/shadowed is out to 125ft

Ya! I was thinking to put them on bumpers to alert "smart fone texters" to look up. We have a big problem here in so cal with drivers looking down and not seeing the road in front of them. These would be attention getters.
