Looking into getting new rims for the CJ7 . I am about to order some 33 x 12.5 x 15 mud terrains.

whats the recommended rim width for that size?
isnt the bolt pattern 5 x 5.5?

and can someone please tell me about back spacing?

as always, thanks for your time and thoughts .

excellent link. i probably could of searched that one....my bad

but i am in the the know now!

thank you sir

I like to run an 8" rim with 12.5 tires. Less rim exposed to the possibility of damage by rocks and stumps. Plus the narrower rim holds a bead better under low pressure situations then say a 10 inch rim.

Who makes them?
If they are BF Goodridge then they recommend wheels that are 7 to 9 inches wide for that size tires. If you do much off-roading you might want to go with 7 inch wheels. That would protect the rims more and if you air down you are a little less likely to break a bead.

Edit: I am echoing Jim again.
