Now that I don’t get snow days off of work, I’d just as soon it be 70 outside.....

Only 53 and clear here. What's a snow day ?

Not today, but last Saturday TDS,
Tierra Del Sol 57th annual Jeep run

Cool hut - Any idea of age? I wouldn’t think sheets of bark would last too many years.....

Thinking the same. Looks like oak.

Any indication of fires inside??

The hut or Wetu is made of cedar sticks and bark from older oak trees built by the local Wompanoag people. I believe it was built on a spiritual site they identified. Appears to be used for gatherings only.

Their was a mound of snow where the ashes would have been but I didn’t disturb the area to find out. Their should have been a piece of removable bark covering the hole at the top of the hut.

By the condition of the hut I would say it was built within the last 5 years.

I agree - That should have been a 30 minute video....

Well you still won the competition, Best Jeep ! :)

By the sound of branches scratching the side of the tub (on the first trail) I thought I’d see some pinstripes. Didn’t see any, I’m totally impressed with Majic implement paint.

On another note, after wheeling I stopped by the spray wash bay to knock off the mud. After cleaning it wouldn’t start. Pushed it out of the bay and opened the hood to get some sun and air in the engine compartment figuring some water got in. Checked all the connections under the hood, got it started but wouldn’t stay running. I then checked the passenger compartment where I store my computer dang wires and connectors were wet.

Pulled the computer out and opened it up, I found it dry. Conveniently the car wash was next to a parts store so grabbed some fast drying electric cleaner and dielectric grease. After cleaning, drying, and adding grease it fire up. I even made it home on time for dinner.

I was lucky the water didn’t fry my computer or burn the computer tach filter. I’ll take care of the issue so it doesn’t happen again.

I also used the implement paint. I put a little extra hardner in it because I too frequent pin stripe trails. Cheap and durable.
