Where did you take your CJ today?

Took the CJ to the local airport.
Found there a B17 Flying Fortress “Nine O Nine”, B24 Liberator “Witchcraft”, B25 Mitchell “Tondelayo” bombers.
A P15 Mustang “Toulouse Nuts” and P40 Warhawk “Jaws” we’re there as well. Should have taken more photos below is all I have.

Yes, very sad. The first pictured is the one that crashed (Nine O Nine).
Pic was taken less then 2 weeks before the crash.
My son has flown in that bomber as well.

Ok, things are not going as smoothly as it should.

Front loop #1 not the correct bends as instructed.



Number # 2 still not right

Gave some input and I think they got it right, third times a charm.

Still have to get it back to the shop and burn it in, plus all the other things on the list. It will be a late night.

Heading to Moab at some point tomorrow.

I thought you were making a safety-couch with a rollbar. All you need are seatbelts and it would feel like you were watching the game from a comfortable Jeep.

That front loop pictured was the first one they bent incorrectly, they bend 2 more that didn’t come close to fitting. Eventually they bent one that worked but Bill and I still had to massage it in to make it fit. Been up for 25 hours, burnt in the loop, painted then found I forgot to weld in the grab handles. I’ll burn them in tomorrow morning with the other things I didn’t get to do today, then head to Moab.
