I am new the the Jeep world and am trying to learn as I go. I bought a 79 CJ5 that originally had a I6 that was already pulled when I got it. I found a AMC 304 out of a 76 CJ7 that I am working on putting in and believe I have all the parts I need except the flywheel. I have the flywheel from the I6 but I have read that it will not balance correctly since the V8's are externally balanced. Plus the flywheel I have would need a new ring. Since you cannot tell the difference between a AMC 304 and a 360 flywheel without having them balanced, where is a trustworthy place to get a AMC 304 flywheel that I know is not actually a 360 flywheel and cause much bigger problems? Trying to do this on as tight a budget as possible, any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

I did not know that they were so close to the same.
