why not a spool

does anyone make a spool for 4.11or 4.56 gears for jeep model 20 rearend. the ones i found 3.08 is the lowest i found.

AMC20 carrier break is 3.08 so you will find they are listed as 3.08 and up

ie the same spool for 3.08 will fit 4.11,4.56 etc

i thought you had to change the carrier when going to lower gear such as a 4.11 or a 4.56

carrier needs changing on the 3.08 threshold lower than 3.08 (numerically higher) all have the same carrier


numerically less then 3.08 all have the same carrier but a different carrier to numerically above 3.08 so depends what gears you have now but if going spool or full locker they replace the carrier anyway
