Hello

Does anybody know about any book where it shows the widetrack axles measurement?

I refer to a book or may a Jeep paper where It may show that.

Thank you in advance.

ciao

Thank you
But I need to find an oficial jeep book or document showing information about the Dana 30 widetrack.
Thank you anyway cause it helped me anyway
Bye

Why an 'Official Jeep Book'? Jeep never made an 'official book' about the axles widths in a in a CJ except for a factory service manual. Is there something wrong with the information we can provide?

Hello
There is no problem with your info please don,t missunderstand.
I need an official jeep book cause I,m in europe.
My jeep cj service manual only shows the narrowtrack measurements and my CJ7 is a widetrack.
The point is that I'm trying to get the papers right to drive my american cj here and for that I need to show the car to some enginers.
These engineers require me to have the cj as it came from the factory to get the papers.
They say that my axles don,t have the same measurement than the service manual so they won,t give me the papers until I show them with an official document that my widetrack axles aré original.

That is why i need it

Thank you

It may help also i show them this forum info

Thank you CJ

Hello Old Dog,

May be when you put the first link the message,s font size changed to the link,s font size :p .It,s ok.

Thank you for the link at least now I can show them that 81 axles on CJ7 were different than 82 - 86 axles.

I will look for the bill of material on my CJ7 and I will print the info for them.

Thank you Old Dog.:chug:

Bye

Your not looking for the bill of material for the whole jeep. There is a number stamped on the axle tube on the right side of the Diff. enter that number into the spot on the above mentioned site and it will describe your axle and aplication.

Thank you so much everyone.

The info you gave me is enough for them to pass the inspection.:notworthy:

Thank you :chug:
