thats a mounting hole for the plastic frame cover that yours is missing the sides.....no biggie. just informing.

Because you didn't want to pay me the coin to deliver a fully restored CJ with all the big and SMALL details finished correctly.

If I remember right, Its a YJ cover that I had laying around and cut the ends off in a miter saw to make it fit the narrower CJ frame.

Guys and gals i also saw a bunch of mirrors with map lights and manual dim. if any one would be interested in those let me know.

I found some donors for the compass only mirrors that are the same size button as the stock CJ

Are ANY of these mirrors (with the lights and or compass) found with the correct style mount arm like the CJ? Meaning the ball socket comes out at almost a 90 degree for steeper windshields vs the 45 degree sockets for the long sloped car like glass.

The short answer is no. However there is enough adjustment that you can achieve the correct orientation and height and still have room to adjust the sight angle and see everything.

I also found some that fit the factory CJ/yj mirror button but so far those are compass/autodim only.
