You know you own a CJ when...

When you are contorting your arm into the depths of an engine compartment and you aren't sure if the moisture you are suddenly feeling on you skin is fluid from the engine,sweat, or your own blood.



Happened to me this weekend, it was my own blood, I had apparently opened up my pinky pretty good.

Haha. Yesterday, after working on my CJ, I was eating dinner and my wife asked what I did to my arm. Not knowing, I asked what she was talking about. She showed me I had blood all over my elbow. I had no idea.

Oh ya. I've waved at CJs while in my car and then ticked when they didn't wave back only to realize what I was doing several moments later.

I like to pull up beside a CJ in my truck and count the things that it needs that I have already done. The driver is looking over and wondering why I am looking at his CJ with a smirk on my face shaking my head from side to side.

I really love to pull my CJ along side of pimped out Hummers and laugh hysterically.



I have done the same with Range Rovers and Mercedes SUVs but I honestly don't think the Yuppies have a clue. they think it is just a very expensive station wagon that they can apparently drive should they go to Aspen in winter.:xj:

I think most of that blood, sweat, and tears comes from the fact that i'm usually drunk when working on my CJ.
