Yeah, I won't be able to get a new tranny for a while. But when I am able to, it's gonna be the T-18 . I just need to work mor OT and save my cash.

But long before I do that, I need to get some doors and a rear hatch for my hardtop.

You need to do the team rush upgrade. You will find it runs a lot better afterword.

There's a lot of things that I need to do to it. First thing is gonna be fuel filter and rip apart the interior.

What you don't like the two different seats?

I don't mind the two seats. It's the wood under the carpet that I need to get out and see how terrible the tub is.

Those frame repairs scare me. Seems like there might be something hidden.

I can get a new frame for about $200. If the frame is worse than it seems I'll get a new one.

Picking up some new brake shoes, fuel filter, and e brake cable this weekend.

Quick question, what size are the reverse lights? Both mine are out.

ALSO!! I'm looking for body mounts as I need one or two. Does anyone know the best place to get some?

Well, me thinks I'll be fabricating my own body mount. I'm not gonna pay $100 when I only need one body mount. Then I'm gonna need a bushing for that mount... Hopefully I can get one cheap at NAPA or Advanced.

Welp, looks like a need a new frame. Got up under this beast today and the inner part is rotting away. Time to start looking for a new frame.

Anyone know why the brakes might rattle? It seems to rattle like hell going down the pavement. Can't hear it while wheeling in the woods for obvious reasons.

Not sure about your question but try the Drivetrain forum for brake questions. Tech questions really belong there. :)

So I replaced my starter solenoid today. It crapped the bed last weekend. Tried to start it up and it didn't turn over. To say the least, I'm pretty pissed. I have no idea what it is. I even tried the little trick with touching the positive and the right wire on the top and nothing. (It was working for me last weekend.) Now I have no idea what I need to fix. At first I thought it was the the ignition coil, but it looks fine. Time to rip apart the engine bay.

put the charger on the battery, if you don't have full voltage it will not turn over.

Coil has nothing to do with it turning over. You may have received a bad solenoid. Jump the two terminals to the starter across the main solenoid leads with jumper cables to test if the starter works.

Are you sure you do not have the small 'start' and the 'ignition' wires reversed? Jump the hot lead to both (one at a time) to be sure.
