I currently have a Daystar 1" urethane body lift on my CJ8 . It was installed during covid lockdown so 2020'ish
So this isn't about the common trouble points with removing & replacing the perches as it's all fresh.
My issue is that I'm not comfortable (in many ways, I'm 60 it's 40 LMAO) with the new center of balance. I also have a 5' wife who I'd like to take wheeling.
I'm going to remove the 1" Daystar & return it to oem rubber mounts.
Thoughts? Has anyone done this? Are there any variables I need to plan for?
Like radiator, steering, etc?
I also think it will look better- back in proportion..
Thoughts, comments?

Should be no issue dropping back down 1". Steering shaft will compress slightly, not the full inch due to its angle. Brake lines no problem. Check the position of the fan and radiator shroud. Since the radiator and shroud are attached to the front grill, they will move down that inch whereas the fan itself is attached to the engine, which will not move that inch. Of course this depends on whether you have the mechanical fan or electric and whether you have a shroud or not. Also check your exhaust. Depending on routing and position, will it now be an inch closer to the floorboard(s) and perhaps need some shielding to keep the floor from getting too warm for your (or the wife's) feet. In your photo, the exhaust appears plenty low from the floor. I also see no issue with tires rubbing in that pic.
