Great news!!! Fire up the 134 yesterday, it started on the first crank no oil leals no bad sounds good oil pressure. Much more to do do it's good to know that all of my engine work has been a success. Will be moving onto the tranmission next.
If you can wait until I get back from vacation I will be more than happy to measure them and send a few pictures. I will be back on the 4th. JoeIf I may ask, you should be able to tell me where the holes are for the rear taillights?? I need the measurements for my '64.
It sounds like you will have a good project in front of you. If you need any pictures of how this go feel free to send me a note always happy to help. Thanks you have spurred me on to do my 1960 CJ6 . I only wish this forum was around 20 years ago when I pulled it apart! I have boxes of bolts, nuts and various parts all over the place. I suppose it will just make the rebuild that little more interesting. I hope?
Thank you. The plan is to make it as factory as I can.Just read your resto from start to present. Very nice work she's going to be a beauty. looking forward to the finish.
