Build Thread 1960 Resto Project
Looking GOOD!

I's coming along good, just got the tires mounted yesterday and working on the wiring yet. Ordered a stencil kit from Larsens and have new data plates coming to make it complete! I will say pounding on the tub was no fun at all, it's basicaly a big steel drumb and very loud hammering out all the dents!

Thanks for that! Now that the rain has stopped and I can roll it outside I will get some pics, do we have a trailer build thread?

Theres been a few. And I think it would be a great idea to add it to the build forum.;)

Thanks for that! Now that the rain has stopped and I can roll it outside I will get some pics, do we have a trailer build thread?

It's time for another up-date. Frame is completed new springs, shocks all new bearings seals gaskets, new bolts. Next i will get started on the engine and drive train.

Yet another up-date. The frame and springs are now complete, we will be working on putting the engine and Transmission back in next. I will keep the pictures coming.

The new engine gasket set has just arrived should be a good weekend to put the engine back together and get it back in the frame. I will post pictures as soon as I get the engine back together. :D

That is looking beautiful sir! top notch

This is going to be a small up-date but here you go. The motor is going back together with no problems or issuses so here are a few pictures, hoping to have the motor finished and back in the frame next week.

Looking good

Clean and beautiful as we've come to excpect. :notworthy:

One tip , turning that engine around 180 degrees will help with the installation. :D

Thanks fo rthe great words. Damn you mean I can't mount that upside down???:banana::banana: More pictures next week.

Only problem I see is you started with too much Jeep :) Man, to find one with so little rust . . .

It is a very solid old jeep... I spent about a year or so looking for a nice original one that was not all cut up. and this one was once about 10 minutes from my house. :D

Time for an update. The engine is all back together and back in the frame, need to finish trimming the engine and then we move onto the Transmission . Here's a few new pictures.
