Wire wheeled the drivers side this morning. It is far worse than the passengers side for sure. Got the rear quarter done......

I didn't feel like working on the tub today, so I played with the front end. I got a good start on it!

I ordered the gasket set for the exhaust this morning. Bolted on the rear cross member on the frame and got it wire wheeled and primed. The rear support for the bed got welded in. That got primed and I got a little seam seal spread out.
good day!

Wire wheeled the easy stuff on the back of the frame. Got that primed. Flipped up the tub and got the bottom painted with Rust-Oleum! Same brand of primer that I'm using. Had a little paint left so I painted the bottom of the front fenders as well......

outstanding body work!! impressive to say the least. :notworthy:

that is a heck of a bumper, the bolt holding it on is a bit underwhelming.

the exhaust pipe in front of the tire like that, would make me more than a little nervous.

What did you use to roll out this patch panel? I fits nicely...

A hammer.

The previous questions; The exhaust is temp, so when I bench test the engine the neighbors don't freak. It will be to the rear bumper when finished. The front bumper when finished will have six hardened bolts holding it on. I'd rather not undo that many bolts when fitting a fabricated piece.
