232 External Accessories

Just a quick question about external accessories on a AMC 232 i6 and how interchangeable they are with a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l .

I discovered last night that my CJ has a 77 AMC 232 i6 . I'm looking around for a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l , but want to make sure if the engine is not complete, that I can reuse my accessories. I know the blocks are the same casting, so I would assume they would have the same bosses for bolts.

I know the starters list as the same part number. What about things like water pumps, alternators, pulleys, belts, ect....

Are the distributors & carbs the same also?

I'm pretty sure they are iiiiidenticle, separated by bore and stroke only...
