I use to have a Weber on mine for about 150K miles until EFI. The Weber didn’t need a pressure regulator. Just pump and filter like original.

Thanks,
Mine did work, but it went unused for about 3 months then wouldn't start. The fuel pump (mechanical type) seemed to be pumping almost nothing so I put on a new one. I just got a pressure gauge so I will get a battery back in it tomorrow and be able to check the pressure. The Weber info says it only works in the 2.5-4.5 pressure range (seems narrow) I'm very interested to see what my pressure actually is.

After 2 weeks mine would act out a little and not want to start easily either. I would drop maybe a teaspoon of fuel down its throat and that worked well. They don’t need much pressure.
