i bought this jeep wile i was in iraq and cant seem to figure out what specific engine it is its a Dauntless Buick 225 V6 other than that im cluless i think this is a wire for the computer controled carb but not sure if it is its a 83 or newer 3.8 or 4.1 please help

The buick v-6 was called the Dauntless Buick 225 V6 225. Around 74 or so it became a 231. Neither motor was around in 85. A stock 85 wouldve used an inline 6 cyl. known as the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . That wire is for an electric choke.

Computer controlled carb??? Like Throttle Body Injection? I don't understand, is that a swapped in motor?

Because that looks like the +12V wire to the choke. All it does is heat up the spring element inside the choke.

That carb looks like a singe barrel Carter YF.

its an 85 with a Dauntless Buick 225 V6 that someone befor me swaped im just trying to figure out what Dauntless Buick 225 V6 . im in iraq and its kinda hard to tell from here what year did buick use an electric choke
