'68 225 HEI upgrade

So I decided to go ahead with the 76 Buick hei upgrade. I ground down the intake so it fits... Tight! Had to replace the bolt with a short head bolt instead of the flange type. The bolt head hits the #5 cylinder post when I turn the distributor. Any suggestions?

I would suggest a stainless button head screw for a little help with clearance, and a little more filing.
