Nice jeep. It's a shame Bart wouldn't let you get any closer to get a better picture. Then again maybe he didn't want his jeep to catch fire or blow up I guess. He and your wife must be talking about yours maybe.
Lol, he was pretty excited to get to talk Jeeps with me so he pestered my wife at work til she agreed to come over for a bit, I got a lot closer to the CJ2a but I did not get a chance to get a picture, it does have a PTO winch on it and he is saving up to replace the whole brake system so that he feels more comfortable driving it

One small victory at a time.... I did not see anything in the Jeep manual on how to set the speedo pinion housing so I had to look it up in my 71 Dodge manual... can’t believe I forgot you have to rotate the housing to the 6 o clock position...... now on to finding the right tooth count to correct the speedo

I’m easily amused if you haven’t figured that out like my wife has but we had some left over seal tape at work that was an 1/8 thick by 1 inch wide I used to seal the Transmission tunnel cover what a huge difference in heat

Well holding on to my collection of Chrysler speedo gears paid off 31 teeth it is spot on.....
325/70R17 Goodyear Duratracs 3.91 rear gears equals 31 tooth speedo pinion gear

OMG the last few days I thought my axle was gonna fall off, took awhile to figure out that I’m missing two bolts from the jock tower holy cow that’s loud

It was nice, got that noise fixed got the Transmission tunnel cover quite and found out that the gas tank can get full...... now on to fixing whatever shorted my gage lights the other night when it rained so hard

My daughter did the same thing more than 20 years ago - it’s been one of my favorite pics. Yours is a keeper for sure.
In my case, she mixed a Jeep ride with McDonalds.........
