Woo hoo, they taped the :dung: out of my high steer kit box lol it looked more like a really heavy round ball by the time it got to me, looks more like sub compact parts 1/2 to parts and 1 ton parts

Well I should have my passenger side knuckle milled tonight and if the local metal company has DOM tubing I will have my tie rod and drag link completed Monday God willing, now that I have the 1 ton parts looks like I'm going to have to do something with the pitman arm, I hadn't really thought about the tie rod being a larger diameter than the whole stock pitman arm =0. So no reaming it to fit

so the print I have on my other page of this thread is almost correct for my Dodge knuckles, they show the ball joint to be slightly larger in diameter than what i was getting with my calipers. once i centered on the ball joint hole everything else was spot on. time for some paint and press the joints back on, then start assembling the the front hub/wheel/brakes =)

so when you look at this picture you can see that the flat top portion of my knuckle was cast/forged at 80 degrees to the milled surface of the spindle, I milled my knuckle to the same degree as the ball joints are on. when you look at my little print i have it says to drill the stud holes parallel o the spindle surface.

Good progress!

Sweet Garland steel has DOM tubing in stock so my drag link and pitman arm will be complete tonight, and they are so short, the drag link is measuring close to 41 inches with the drag link at a whopping 16inches of tubing =0 and they are selling it at $10 a foot sweet
