Gert, I recently tried submitting a build thread for my ‘85 CJ7 , not sure why it wasn’t approved yet, but regardless it’s startng with my T-5 rebuild you earlier expressed interest in seeing.

Ive broken it down and am about to paint and begin reassembling it. Lots of pictures and lessons learned if you’re still interested I’ll re-submit my build thread request.

Haha! Nice. I resubmitted my build thread and then saw that my original one was finally approved.

It’s: 85’ CJ7 : Labor or Love.

I’ll begin updating about the T-5 rebuild soon

Called Tom Wood himself very relaxed guy to talk to, but man that was painful $360 front driveshaft. He said it should be here by next Thursday

As long as you have stock I joints and no shackle flip or spring over they aren’t expensive but I have 1350 u joints spring over and shackle flip cha ching

Well got the lids sorted out and the radio/amp placement now on to the arm rest and how to mount it to the floor

Lol she was as excited as I was to get the box open, I knew when I made my skid plate that I would probably be trimming it and sure enough I need to trim it, so the driveshaft is resting in place on the skid plate for now, gotta feed the little ones so they can grow and help me on the Jeep better

Hmm went better than I thought, I was able to sew together a pad pretty quick and get some feet fabbed up, looks good enough to me
