Nice progress!!

You might wanna take a look at the welder and compressor - I’ve heard some of them have plugs that will allow swapping either one into an outlet allowing the compressor to refill. Yours may be different but it’s worth a shot.......

I have my compressor hard wired to a disconnect and a shutoff valve for the air, I leave it on all the time with my Regulator and hoses depressurized

I wasn't in any hurry, but I just got done striping some parts of paint with some brake fluid. Worked pretty good.

Yep I’m finally going to weld my track bar in :). Long time coming

Never heard of a CJ with a track bar, hell... I didn’t even know what it did until I just looked it up.

Thanks for helping me learn something new. How would I determine if I even needed one?

Spring over suspensions flex leaf springs more, V8s flex leaf springs more and lead foots flex them more....

I have all the above lol

I would not worry about one unless you have a spring over like me

Sooooo... I’m putting in Chevy 350. While I’ve got the thing down to the frame would it be a good idea? Sorry to hi-jack the build thread Gert, this track bar discussion is new to me.

I'm thinking you do cross over into the twilight zone until you get to a 360. :)

Ya I dropped the skid plate after I set the spring perches on the axle so I need a little more shim to set the angle back inline with the driveshaft......

Poop I just realized I have the shims on backwards

Spring under and I am replacing the stock springs with OME YJ since everything I’ve read about that upgrade is that it’s well worth it.

Sounds good. Less to worry about during the rebuild. Appreciate the advice.
