I don't think the bows are ment to stay up without the top on. I know mine don't, and no reason to for that matter.

Lol ya just made it a pain in the butt to get a picture

Coming along nicely.

I've been out of it for a while with shoulder surgery, and just getting started back on mine, so I thought I'd get back online and check around... Man, I can't wait to get to this point.

Wow one side off I’m surprised.... maybe I should have sprayed all the mating surfaces with salt spray when I was assembling it lol

Ball joints in and torqued to 80 foot bottom, 50 foot for adjuster sleeve and 100 foot pounds top nut, now I have to find the torque spec for the steering again to get the c arms re torqued also trying to find inner/outer wheel bearing part numbers for Tim Ken bearings my old ones are to crunchy for my taste, don’t wanna smoke a $100 spindle

I use a press, much easier :)

Did the same thing to my 3500 ram last Friday morning...stripped both axels and hubs out...then my ball joint tool didn’t fit...darn it...swore plenty..re assembled both sides and booked it in at my local wrench master...was soooo pissed..at least the disassembly will be easy for them now..all got anti seize on..and took a 6’ steel tube extension to shift the bottom joint...can’t be right?

Not a chance...hit them with everything I have...let someone better than me sort it...lol

I hate paying to have done what I can do - but that I would gladly pay for.... but it would be kinda like going to the gym - or loosing a kickboxing match.
