Sent from my desk at work...... sigh..........

Well that’s better.... I swapped to the 4150 metering block on the secondaries so I could not find a long enough fuel transfer tube so had to make one from a really old piece of copper tube......now on to more carb tuning

Got some heavy shiny new shackles from MORE in today and got the front axle out from under the Jeep to get the shock mounts welded on better and to also got the poly bushings installed on the leaf springs, gotta find some of my old scrap metal to stiffen up the shock mounts and front spring eye mounts

Lol yep, the bicycle with with a gas engine on it, tightening everything up that the alignment guy was fussing about so I can take it back

Jeeps...2 steps forward and then one back to enjoy doing it again! But look how quick you were at pulling out the whole assembly.

I’ll be pulling my rear after just installing cause we forgot the axle shims. And of course that was the end that went together like a bear.

lol it is nice pulling something out that you just installed because it comes out much easier, how ever it does suck having to pull stuff off that you thought you had done already

Well got my rear shocks in, got the front mounts welded beefed up, ground smooth and painted. on to getting my mini mes

Your not kidding about beefy shock mounts!

I dunno - they look as though they only weigh 10 or 12lbs....... Kinda flimsy, eh?

Sent from deep within a bad case of mugginess...

Hopefully I will have a working fuel gage in the next few days

Knowing how much fuel you have is kinda overkill isn't it ? :)

Lol the other week when I was having fun circling the neighborhood I ran out of gas and sputtered back into the driveway so I figured that I better take care of that, I don’t feel like buying a jerry van and holder at the moment

Yeah isn’t it registered in gallons per mile?

I thought it was smiles per mile myself

I am looking to see if I feel like prying the gauge itself out of its housing and adapting it into the stock cluster, it’s a pretty compact gage movement I think it would fit in the stock cluster with some work

I like a challenge. Would this one still connect to the temp gauge?

I think it could, I believe that’s either a common ground or common hot, it won’t be the stock bar it will have to be a wire
