I can’t see any way that a rubber shifter boot is going to work with the twin sticks so I might be cutting up an old canvas tarp

Nah - picked up a piece of 16ga steel at Lowes. Took it to work and ran it they the roller...... gonna get the shape right, but hold off till I decide on boot(s). Gonna see if I can find anything OEM currently available (from anyone)........ bound to be factory boots available somewhere that would work. Once I decide on boots I’ll cut the openings.

That it is - but I haven’t heard of one available that doesn’t self destruct in a year or less.....

Ya know, you could incorporate that into the tranny cover... making a custom boot anyway... course, you'd have to double boot the hose...

Nicely done. I may have * possibly* found new OEM shifter boots for a T-176 -Dana 300 Combo...... gotta make a phone call tomorrow.....

I'M NOT READY TO GO TO WORK!!!!!

Amazingly my Transfer Case one is still in great shape and is original. The Transmission one is now probably 10 years old and going strong, don't remember where it came from, but the 2 before that were :dung:. The one before that my wife made out of a long telephoto lens leather bag, which lasted a long time also

Very nice.......
