well i broke down and bought MORE shackles for the rear leaf springs, i thought that I had leaf spring bushings left over but they are the wrong size..... grrrr i found that out after i drilled out the first bushing, found out that the wood drill bits eat rubber like it loves it

Dude I have found the easiest way to ever get those stupid bushings out really easy I got both rear leaf spring bushings out in under 5 minutes without even breaking a sweat

I used my tie rod puller to push the sleeve out

Then I hogged the bushings out using my 1 inch wood drill bit done

Well I got the rails installed along with the bows, my 3 year old was helping me install the screws that was pretty cool he took right to it I definitely have a little helper on my hands

Got stuck on the windshield rails, the driver side was installed a little offset by the PO so I need to slot the channel a little to reuse the existing screw holes and start installing the top itself sweeeettt

i got the driver side wind shield channel slotted and the top hooked up and draped over the bows this morning at 430, kinda weird having a top, havent had anything on it in 15 years, good news is that the MORE shackles will be here today bad news my boss wants me to work late today I hope to get the top the rest of the way installed when i get home and maybe the shackles we will see how much patience my wife has lol

315/70R17, or 34.5 inch, spring over, 1 inch body lift, stock YJ leaf springs

these pictures are slightly mis leading i have the rear shackles off and its supported just above ride height by jack stands

Hmm just realized I finally have a top installed after 15 years with no top and now I need to pull it back off to weld the family roll bar on lol

I might have missed it posted earlier, but who's top did you get? And that 1" body lift doesn't really show from those pics. I usually abhor the look of bod lifts, but yours is very inconspicuous
