A Coulple "What are these" questions

Fantastic, that's what I needed to know. K comp is gone and yeah the carb is getting replaced too. I'm just going to go with the webber for now. The plan is next winter to rebuild a AMC 304 and put that in. Appreciate the info much. :chug:

For what its worth if your going to build a AMC 304 for it you should grab a 360. All the externals are the same and the rbuild cost would be exactly the same. They seem easier to come by then a AMC 304 . Almost any waggy or j truck will have one.

My 85 oil pressure switch (the two prong thingy) was wired to the choke coil through a relay. no warning light.

Is that with the stock carter carb? I'm replacing the carter with a weber carb with an electric choke. Will this cancel the need to wire it to the choke coil?

PO installed a MC2100, with a flipped GM coil on the unloader, IIRC.

If you need voltage to the choke coil only when the motor isn't running, such as before and during starting it, then use the Oil Pressure switch. Once the engine is running, oil pressure shuts the switch off.

keyed ignition +////switch////coil ,is a simple way to wire it. either lug is fine.

mine had a relay tied into the electronics somehow. Cut it out over a year ago. Too many headaches with the Carb off-road.
