Alaskia Off Roar Warriors

Alaskia Off Roar Warriors
I enjoyed watching it. Yeah, there was some garbage that didn't need to be in there, mostly stirred up by the rover tool, but I thought it was generally entertaining and Im always up for actually seeing any off road activity on main stream TV. There was a mix of rider types, so maybe a little something for everyone? Who am I to judge anyway. I'd love to get a chance to take a trip like that.

I'd rather watch wheeling over tennis any day (sorry Tennis lovers)

I suspect if it was not a race producers felt no one would want to watch just plain Wheeling

Glad to see Super Jeep won! 🇺🇸

Definitely would not choose to wheel with a few of those folks though! 😰

True, I didn't really like the Rover guys, especially when they returned. With that being said, I was impressed with what appeared to be a relatively stock old school Rover. Sure it had big tires on it and I'm sure altered gearing, but the old girl got'er done.

Also, there was some real camaraderie there. If one of them was left behind, eventually (most of the time) they went back to help. Then there was the sharing of equipment like the land anchor, an item I'm surprised other experienced jeepers didn't have.

Super Jeep is also jantz 4x4 out of Washington state. You can follow him and his shop, Jantz 4x4 or jantz engineering. Kind of odd they put what really amounts to stockish I'll prepared suv,s in the same game with "Super Jeep " wich from what I can tell despite its funny looks is actually a pretty well built rig. Selectable lockers, some sort of Klune-v unit (under or over I don't know) in some of the YouTube snow videos it is clearly healthy wheras in some of the Alaska offroaders episodes it sounds like a sick 4.3 v-6??.

Kinda like in the movies when the bad guy takes off on a Honda xr600 four stroke single and it sounds like either a Harley or a hyabusa.

Earlier in this thread there was a question as to his health. Not really sure about that, there are videos as pretty regular all the way back too 00" and he always looks pretty good.

He said he had cancer and lived through or beat it. He did seem robust until one day he passed out from being overly tired. That started me wondering about his over all health.
