I recently bought my girlfriend a jeep for Christmas as a project for us to work on. Well long story short the original AMC 304 is still in it and runs fine after some tweaks. Now driving around town or at slow speeds is fine, however once you get on the highway it is a different story, basically the entire cab fills with smoke and it looks like a scene from cheech and chong.
Now I only drove it once on the highway then parked it to try and find a solution, I noticed the pcv valve was disconnected as well as some other lines around the carb/intake. Could this be causing the problem or is it something more major. I'd hate to have to replace the motor because other than this it runs great.
