Any reason to keep the 1bbl Carter?
GS1200
Jeeper
Now that I got the waterpump/tstat housing debacle sorted out, and the ignition/missing problem sorted out by doing the team rush, the only issue is the carb. The jeep had been sitting in storage for 2-3 years, probably less then 200 miles on it total in that time. It runs, but the automatic choke wont idle down when the clutch is in, unless I blip the throttle. It then idles right on down, till the next light and such. I havent driven it much yet myself, but researching this last night, I cam across the mc2100 upgrade, and wondered weather I had a one or two bbl carb. Two bolts holding it down, 1bbl.
Are there any advantages to keeping the one bbl and futzing with it, or just get the adapter and put the money into the 2100?
