Brake drum removal

Okay, I have a '67 CJ5 with a Dana 44 rear axle and as I admitted in my Introduction I'm new to Jeeps... I have to replace all the wheel studs on the right rear wheel (don't ask!?!!)... Looks like I have to remove the brake drum to get behind the wheel hub to slide the news studs in place...
1st Dumb question... how do I get the Brake drum off?... My copy of the original Owners Manual says to use a wheel puller... I can get a loaner from AutoZone, but how do I connect it?... If there's a better way, educate me... I know squat about old Jeeps but, I am trainable, just talk r-e-a-l s-l-o-w and use small words ... Thanx

Do you still have the original 9" brakes on there? Or has it been converted to the 11" drums?

... But! these hubs Do have three tapered screws and it looks like the brake drums ARE external... Can I use the screw holes to attach a wheel puller to?... I'm so new to this I would rather ask DUMB questions than screw sonething up
