what color is the spark? If the spark is weak, then it may idle but as soon as you give it gas the increased fuel and compression kill it. Could be aweak coil and a module beginning to break down.

You were right... I have the following set up but my coil keeps heating up and petering out. The only thing I haven't done is copper coat the plugs.
I wanted to use the canister coil because I have 2 but maybe I should just go to the e-coil?

Brotherjohn, I would think you either have a bad coil or a poor ignition module ground.
