Cant find the name of this part

Its located by the rear driver tail light and has some gas breather lines(im guessing) going to it on my 76 CJ5 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l

Look like this? # 4 or 5?

#4 is a check valve and #5 is a rollover valve. As to what they actually do I don't know, my jeep came from an "unregulated state" and only has vents with check valves.

those are it! i am missing # 5 and # 4 one of the "nipples" are broke off.. having a hard time finding these parts.


tried to take a pic but my fl;ash was not working and its bolted way up in there... sorry

These things are getting kind of hard to come by and you will not find a true OEM replacement part so it is going to take some adaptation to make it all work. Personally I think they are kind of important if you end up on your side or top otherwise there could be raw gas flowing out of the tank after the crash. Can anyone say “boom”?

I’d try JC Whitney as they are the king of weird and unusual parts.
