I just swapped out my carb. on my 84' CJ7 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and upgraded to a M/C 2100. Everything went smooth except now I don't know what to do w/ the hot air tube that went to the air cleaner. Is this needed for the choke?

Unless you're in California, the only thing you really need going to your air cleaner is a tube from one of the vent holes on the valve cover. That's of course unless you'd rather just run an oil breather instead.

that is for the TCA (thermostatically controlled air cleaner). It provides warm air from the exhaust manifold to help with cold starts and reduce emissions. If you don't have the air cleaner with all the hoses and dampers on it you don't have a place to put it. If emissions is not a problem than the TCA isn't a problem.
