- 1979 CJ-7 with a fiberglass body and 1982 wide track axles, 258 I-6 with a 1995 4.0 head, HEI distributor, Motorcraft 2100 Carb, T-18 wide ratio tranny, Super Lift Springs and 33s, a 1997 BMW 328i, and a 2010 REDLINE CONQUEST TEAM Cyclocross Bike. :)
Unless you're in California, the only thing you really need going to your air cleaner is a tube from one of the vent holes on the valve cover. That's of course unless you'd rather just run an oil breather instead.

that is for the TCA (thermostatically controlled air cleaner). It provides warm air from the exhaust manifold to help with cold starts and reduce emissions. If you don't have the air cleaner with all the hoses and dampers on it you don't have a place to put it. If emissions is not a problem than the TCA isn't a problem.
