I have not made any posts in a while. So here we go. The last time I posted I mentioned that I rebuilt the TF 727 Transmission . and put a snorkel/ breather tube on it to water proof the air intake. I have recently added a new motor to my jeep buggy. I put a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l back in my 86 CJ7 but this motor has had a little work... It was bored out 60 over with a mild cam. It has the 4.0 head and an aftermarket header also. It took a little modifications to get all the belts and pulleys to work but what a difference. It has a Holley 2 barrel carb and an HEI distributer. I also replaced the stock gear box with an HD replacement gear box and pump. I also removed the stock fan and replaced it with an electric pusher fan on the front between the radiator and grill. Had to cut the vertical bars on grill but a sacrifice worth making. This allows me to run up to 4'-0" of water by shutting down the fan. I also just changed out the gears on the Dana 300 . I went with the LoMax 4 to 1 gear kit. What a difference! I haven't changed the gears in the axles and I am running 40" tractor tires. This beast pulls now. I know I've increased the horsepower greatly but don't know how much... It has to be 40-50 hp. Anyways, that's all for now. Pic is before motor swap.:chug:

Love the pic.

I want more, more, more please.

Thats pretty cool.

Is this for fun or do you take people on tours?

Looks like there are some rifles up front so Im guessing you hunt off it?

Can you reach the :chug: cooler from the upper level?

We use the buggy for riding through the woods, over palmetto heads, across flag ponds, or just about anywhere we want. The jeep is a smaller swamp buggy in relation to others in the area. I like it because I can still maneuver around trees and obstacles etc. We do hunt deer and hogs and sometimes turkeys from the deck which gives you a great view across the woods.
We also go for joy rides and yes we can reach the cooler. Usually have one up front on the deck. The area below which has a cooler is also used as a game cart or storage in the dry box when not hunting. Fun ride. :chug:

So cool! :notworthy:

Good looking passenger too. :D
