Well, I finally have something to offer this thread...... albeit crappy pics - the dude came around a Bojangles chicken joint and I was lucky to have gotten my phone outta my pocket quick enough for these. They're fuzzy, but they'll have to do... He had a tube brush guard on the front, which I was masterful enough to not get it in the pic...

Need help!!! I build jeeps for a living but I've bought a CJ7 with a odd build tag
I'm hoping it will let me post the pic
One. I show what looks to be a trim code of 1BA or looks more like 18A
This as you can see with vin decoder is a 1982 CJ7
No mention of this code in those years but more odd- look at color code
1J does not appear anywhere as a color for 82
81 -yes but only available on wagoneers in 82
I believe is vintage red met

-1951 Willys Wagon, 4 cylinder, "F" head, little rust, very close to stock
When I was a kid I didn't think you could get a 4wd without a plow rig. Brings back memories. We all seemed to be able to get around in the snow and mud with 2wd back then. Trouble with traction, throw a barrel full of sand in the back. Now we need big tires, computer controlled selective all wheel drive and big engines to back out of our driveways. Times and basic requirements for life's necessities change I guess.
