I am (slowly) renovating a 1951 3A (that is what is on the title and the firewall plate matches the title). First noticed that my starter is a 2A type. Then a couple of days ago I bought a nice used 3A radiator. Got it home and saw that it was not the same as the one I took off my 3A. I have a bottom mount radiator. My grill is not set up for the side mount radiator I think is proper for the year. Should I attempt to get the 3A grill that had my new radiator? Should I re-core the old 2A type radiator and stick with it? Why would a 51 3A have a bottom mount radiator?

Help and Thanks, Steve

My right click is down but go to the CJ2a Page for much better info on your Jeep.
