Compatible Distributor Parts?

I'd like to upgrade the distributor cap and rotor on my AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l with either the parts from the TeamRush thread or MSD.

Looking at the MSD stuff I only find caps for the 4.0 engine '91-'93 and '94-'99. Any chance one of these will fit the earlier AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l ?

The TeamRush upgrade is the bet way to go the 4.0 cap is small just like what you have now.

True, but the MSD cap for the 4.0 has the top keeper plate. The diameter of the cap really won't matter for a Jeep unless you're racing it. The RPM's never get high enough for crossfire, and MSD using that small a cap on their multiple discharge system proves that.
