Possibly, there's a lot of room though. Seeing that I'm going to be the primary occupant of the CJ, any passenger will just have to keep strapped down.
It's electronic, runs off a sensor that I will attach where the cable passed through the VSS:

The Ford EEC-III uses a 8 ppm VSS, the Autometer Speedo uses 16 ppm. The folks at Autometer says that it will work off the Ford VSS, but it's no big deal to add the additional sensor and run the wires.
